Born during COVID when husband-and-wife duo Seleste Tan and Mogan Anthony couldn’t get their usual Kuih and Chinese New Year fix, Lady Wong is a Nanyang-inspired pastry boutique. The Malaysian natives lived in Singapore for a decade before moving to New York and have cooked at five-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants in Singapore, Malaysia, and New York City. Since opening Lady Wong has become a destination for cakes with flavors like Calamansi and Mango Sago, kuih with flavors like Malay Rose and Cassava, and more. The largest importer of pandan in New York City opens their second location at Urban Hawker.
